About the Role

The Healthy Ageing and Palliative Care Manager will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of Murrumbidgee PHNs aged care and palliative care initiatives across the region. This role also has management responsibility for a small team.

Essential Criteria

• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant health discipline and/or extensive experience in aged care and/or palliative care and project management.
• Experience and understanding of the aged care and/or palliative care landscapes.
• Demonstrated skills in all aspects of program management.
• Ability to engage and inspire a diverse range of stakeholders, including community groups to achieve program outcomes.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills and ability to communicate across a broad range of audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective partnerships with relevant internal and external stakeholders.

Desirable

• Knowledge of the health and community services system for people with a life limiting illness and their carers/family and current issues particularly in a rural context.

Base Salary:$99,072.09 to $103,535.73 per annum plus superannuation
