Landscape Supervisor

We are looking for an Experienced Landscaper to join Muru Mittigar to assist the CEO and Management team in establishing a new business unit.

Muru Mittigar is a not for profit organisation that aims to improve the economic and social capacity of Aboriginal people and the board strongly believe that the establishment of a landscape maintenance business will aid in achieving this purpose by offering employment opportunities to the Indigenous and wider Western Sydney Community through apprenticeships and traineeships.

Although the role will not be easy; it will be rewarding as you will know you were a part of making a difference to bridge the gap.

• Improve the economic and social capacity of Aboriginal people and;
• Empower meaningful participation to enhance their role as Traditional Custodians of the Country.

Qualifications & experience

• Certificate III in Parks & Gardens or equivalent
• Drivers License
• General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
• Working with Children Check
• Demonstrated skills and experience in managing a team delivering landscape maintenance
• Demonstrated ability to foster a team with a strong commitment to safe work practices

Tasks & responsibilities

• Aid in establishing the Landscape Maintenance division within Muru Mittigar
• Mentor and train a team of trainees and apprentices in Landscape Maintenance
• Delivering and overseeing Landscape Maintenance works
• Pricing & Quoting works
• Aiding in Business development and sales
• Contract Management
• Safety Management
