Disability / Mental Health Support Workers - Newcastle

Muru Pathways

Muru Pathways

Muru has been a proud NDIS Provider in Newcastle for over 8 years. Muru is led by a small Management team with more years of experience under our belt than we would care to admit!

We are highly invested in the work that we do and the participants that we serve. Capacity building for participants is at the forefront of our Muru goals.

We are a medium size organisation who chose quality over quantity. Peers and Management are super supportive and understand that the work we do is often complex and requires compassion for one's self and your team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We need to recruit a small number of new Support Workers to our team to ensure quality service delivery in a time of some growth of participants requiring our support.

We support people from all walks of life however if you have a keen interest in mental health and psychosocial disability, you will find this role even more interesting and rewarding.

Muru provides many services however we are looking for staff to join our ILO accommodation and Community Access 1:1 team.

ABOUT YOU

We have a genuine interest in who you are and where you want to go. Previous experience is great however it's not always what makes an outstanding support worker. A genuine interest in supporting people ethically, a proactive engaged approach to your participant's and team and an understanding that being thorough and considered, is a must.

ADDITIONAL BENEFITS

  • Above award hourly rate.
  • As much training as you require.
  • Opportunity for professional development.
  • Supportive Management and team.
  • A consistent roster where possible to promote work life balance.
