ABOUT YOUR ORGANISATION

At Midland Women’s Health Care Place we aim to provide comfortable, caring and inclusive services for all women over 16 years of age in the East Metropolitan Area.

A range of therapeutic health and wellbeing group activities provide a safe, soft entry point for counselling, health promotion, education, skills development, fitness and engagement. Our purpose is to empower, strengthen and improve the well-being of all women and families for stronger futures

We recognise that individual women can be vulnerable at different times because of factors including social & economic disadvantage, disability, sexuality or sexual preference, ethnicity and age.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The 0.5 FTE role, works alongside the staff in promoting the organisation to the wider community, through a range of mediums including social media, newsletters, event planning, and networking.

The role further develops the organisation through program design, grant writing and managing the space. This will include administration and data management and supervising creche staff to meet the community and organisation need.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a strong team player to join the small, inclusive group of talented people.

We are looking for an experienced person who can demonstrate success in grant writing, community engagement, event and project management and networking. This person can evidence strong communication and interpersonal skills through a variety of mediums including F2F, social media, newsletters, and presentations. You will need to work effectively with CRMs and be proficient with Microsoft Office Software for data management with the ability to plan, implement and evaluate programs effectively.

Experience in health promotion, community engagement, marketing or public health initiatives will be highly regarded.
