ABout us

Mycelium Studios is a multidisciplinary creative studio and co-working hub that seeks to develop community and improve our environment through design thinking and the creative process.

Our organisation holds the values of sustainability, and regenerative practices at the core of what we do. In the past we have researched mycelium for packaging to replace plastics, provided supported places for indigenous artists and entrepreneurs to rent space and record music, held exhibitions where artists interrogate the consumerist system and use only materials that are either sustainable sourced or upcycled and held sustainable markets with all money raised going to organisations such as Goongerah and Grassy Plains Network. These are just a few examples that illustrate our value-driven approach, using our principles to guide our decision-making. We believe art has the power to interrogate systems and create meaningful change towards a more just future.
