About NACCHO

The National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (NACCHO) is the national peak body for 146 Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs). Together, we deliver community-led healthcare to over half of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across Australia.

We are looking for an experienced Procurement and Contracts Officer to assist the Finance team with the preparation of supplier contracts and other procurement activities within NACCHO.

About the Role

In this role, you will:

• Provide expert advice on procurement strategies and contract management.
• Provide contract management support to internal stakeholders, including the preparation of contracts and procurement documents.
• Monitor compliance with relevant procurement policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate reporting of supplier contractual obligations.
• Provide training on procurement matters to internal stakeholders.

You will bring

• A minimum of three years demonstrated experience in a similar role.
• Relevant qualifications for the role.
• Strong demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• An understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and community health.
