The National Native Title Council (NNTC) is a not-for-profit peak body representing native title organisations from across the country. We are a supportive and inclusive organisation that works closely with our members – Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander traditional owner organisations in the native title sector.

the role

We are looking for a Director of Strategic Communications to add to our small but growing national team. The Director of Strategic Communications must be able to design, implement and direct our communications strategy, be highly organised, have experience managing various public and private stakeholders, be adept across a range of medias, and can meaningfully engage our members and stakeholders. The position requires a dynamic, motivated individual who can work well independently and has had at least 5 years in a related role.

We can offer a full time fixed term position with a salary range from $140 - $160,000 per annum plus superannuation and salary packaging.

The position could be based in any of our offices: Perth (main office), Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra. The option to work regionally may be negotiated depending on experience.
