NBMLHD Community Mental Health offers a range of specialised services for children, young people, families and older people, through our community-based services and health centres. Our multidisciplinary health professionals and case managers take a collaborative approach to mental health care by linking with their patients to work together and consult within an environment appropriate to the person's needs.
An exciting opportunity has opened up within the Getting on Track In Time (Got It!) Team on a Temporary Part Time basis for an Allied Health Clinician. You will be part of a team that provides services which include social and emotional learning groups for children in Kindergarten to Year 2, parenting programs for their parents/carers and whole school education programs.
The successful incumbent will be working within the Got It! team which is a school-based early intervention program that supports children with their social and emotional wellbeing. The program works collaboratively with children, parents/carers and school staff and aims to prevent the development of behavioural concerns in children, build the skills of parents to parent well and strengthen the capacity of school staff and the school system to support children and their families.
