Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. An exciting opportunity has become available for a Dietitian Assistant to join the team at Nepean Hospital on a Permanent Full Time basis. The successful candidate will provide optimal nutritional care (with the guidance of a Clinical Dietitian) to all patients in wards assigned to them and act as a liaison between the Dietetics Department, nursing and food service personnel.
The Dietitian Assistant will be responsible for obtaining daily patient menu selections, entering menu selections into computer system, meal tray-line supervision, malnutrition screening and documentation, and ensuring meal and mid-meal accuracy.
