NBMLHD Community Mental Health offer a range of specialised services for children, young people, families and older people, through our community-based services and health centres. Our multidisciplinary health professionals and case managers take a collaborative approach to mental health care by linking with their patients to work together and consult within an environment appropriate to the person's needs.
The Mental Health Clinician will be part of the Homelessness Mental Health Team that provides assessments and interventions to a caseload of consumers experiencing homelessness. Within this imperative role, you will be required to perform duties in accordance with recovery-oriented and trauma-informed practices and contribute to strengthening partnerships with mental health services and housing service providers.
The successful incumbent will ensure provision of comprehensive mental health service within professional scope of practice to who may present with a range of unmet needs. The Clinician coordinates the provision of relevant mental health and support services for consumers as required and actively participate in clinical review, case conferences, team meetings, in-services, and educational activities.
