The Nepean Blue Mountains Health District offers a wide range of Medical Imaging (Radiology), Nuclear Medicine, and Nuclear Medical Therapy procedures through our various facilities/services with a goal to help diagnose, assess, and treat patient's injury or disease.
Our Nuclear Medicine team is seeking to engage a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist who is committed to providing a patient focused, high quality service.
Your role will ensure the provision of the best quality of Nuclear Medicine and PET service in accordance with professional practices and standards as well as the procedures and policies of the district.
Key duties include performing Nuclear Medicine examinations and administrative duties as required for the management of General Nuclear Medicine and PET modalities.
The successful incumbent will work together with the Nuclear Medicine Chief and Deputy of Nuclear Medicine to ensure that the Nuclear Medicine and PET service is of high standard. The position will adhere to the correct patient identification procedures and provide scan explanation to patients prior to commencing the procedure.
