- Must be a Registered Nurse/ Midwife holding current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia/Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Relevant tertiary qualification in management and /or extensive post graduate clinical and operational management experience within an acute health care environment, including previous department management experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of principles, systems and processes related to patient flow and patient transport
- Demonstrated experience in bed management or patient flow in an acute care setting.
- Demonstrated understanding of the challenges that influence / impact patient access to care.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously or as part of a multidisciplinary management team and ability to interpret data and seek information.
- High level verbal and written communication, negotiation, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to act as a change agent and lead organisational change in patient care.
- Current drivers licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel.
