Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital is an acute hospital that supports a population of approximately 80,000 and is the only ANZAC Memorial hospital remaining in NSW. Our Physiotherapists apply their clinical skills in ensuring the highest quality of standards in the assessment and treatment of patients within Blue Mountains and Springwood Hospitals. The successful incumbent will manage a busy patient caseload by prioritising patients according to clinical needs.

This assignment comprises of an 8-hour Saturday and a 6-hour Sunday shift covering priorities across the hospital and providing exposure to a variety of presenting conditions. Selection Criteria

1. Degree in Physiotherapy and Current registration to practice as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
2. Demonstrated ability to provide high quality clinical services across a broad range of clinical areas
3. Demonstrated effective written & verbal communication skills
4. Demonstrated effective time management skills
5. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
6. Demonstrated commitment to professional development and demonstrated knowledge of & experience with Quality Improvement & Evidence Based Practice
7. Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel
8. Willingness and ability to work at both Blue Mountains & Springwood Hospital facilities as directed by the Physiotherapy Head of Department
