The Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District Drug and Alcohol Service offers free, non-judgemental services and treatments for drug and/or alcohol use, including information and support for families.
Our service offers specialist drug and alcohol doctors, nurses and allied health staff who respect the client's right to choose from a range of treatments offered with our services underpinned by a philosophy of harm reduction.
The Team Leader for Forensic Drug & Alcohol Team provides a key role in the front-line operational management and continued development of the NBMLHD Forensic Drug & Alcohol Team. This role ensures the effective implementation of the Magistrates Referral into Treatment (M.E.R.I.T) and Drug Court programs, driving the team towards excellence in service delivery.
The successful incumbent will oversee daily operations, supporting staff through clinical supervision and fostering referral pathways with other service providers. The role also involves managing a patient caseload, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated care, and as a cost centre manager oversee the financial management and activity reporting of designated cost centres.
