Neami National's WorkWell programs support recovery through open employment. There are currently six WorkWell programs across Sydney. With the support from the Employment Services Manager and the WorkWell team, the Employment Specialist will work in the context of the Individual Placement and Support model (IPS), supporting the consumers working toward their individual employment goals.
The principles of IPS are competitive employment, integration into a mental health team, individual preferences, zero exclusion, rapid-job search, job development, benefits counselling, and time-unlimited support. At Silverwater, WorkWell supports consumers in the Housing and Accommodation Support Initiative (HASI). The Employment Specialist integrates with the HASI team, creating wrap-around support for both recovery and employment.
