“We support individuals living with mental health challenges to achieve outcomes they value.”
Neami National is a community mental health service supporting people living with mental illness to improve their health, live independently and pursue a life based on their own strengths, values and goals.
We have been providing mental health support for over 30 years. We were founded on an alliance between professionals, individuals and their families. Collaborative recovery remains at the heart of who we are today.
The responsibilities of the YORS Intake Coordinator involve processing the referrals, gathering further information, contacting the young person, developing the beginnings of a risk assessment and management plan with them, completing a comprehensive assessment and starting to work with the young person to identify their goals. When the YORS team are at capacity, the Intake Coordinator will provide Bridging Support to young people. This includes contacting them weekly and providing either face to face or phone support until such time as they can be allocated to a key worker. Allocating to a key worker will be done in collaboration with the Service Manager of the site.
The YORS Intake Coordinator will be part of the broader YRR team which provides regular opportunities for reflection upon practice issues and development. Another aspect of the role is to provide administrative support to teams.
The terms and conditions of the role are listed in the position description. If you have any further questions not addressed in the advertising words or position description, please contact:
