Position Details

  • Casual Position
  • Classification: SCHADS Level 2 with an hourly rate of $41.80 - $45.63 per hour including casual loading + Superannuation
  • Salary packaging arrangements providing tax benefits available for living and entertainment expenses increasing your take home income where part of your wage is paid tax free each pay, savings thousands in tax each year
  • Location: Urgent Mental Health Care Centre, Adelaide, SA

About your new role

The Operational Support Officer will provide operational and administration support to the team and plays a key role within the UMHCC consortium, including assisting with referral and waitlist management, data recording, minute taking in meetings and performing reception duties. The Operational Support Officer will support and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services to consumers by ensuring that staff operating within the UMHCC are provided with office administrative support that is flexible and responsive to their needs.

What you will bring to the role

  • Sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (including email and internet) and proven experience working in a computerised environment
  • Demonstrated high level of verbal and written communication skills and an ability to use initiative and work effectively to timelines
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively while managing a range of tasks; and the skill to organise and prioritise tasks on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • A high level of energy, enthusiasm and flexibility, along with a commitment to team-work and a willingness to learn about Neami
  • Proven ability to solve problems by collecting the right information, analysing the information, developing a solution and evaluating the success of the solution.

  • National Criminal History Check (police check) - disclosable outcomes considered
  • Current Working with Children Check - required before commencement of work
  • Australian working rights
