ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, this role is primarily to provide support to day-to-day financial tasks, to assist members and other Departments with their enquiries where necessary and to provide ad hoc support with any project implementation where required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing end to end Accounts Receivable – from generating invoices to debt collection
- Answering members’ enquiries in a timely manner, arranging payment plans whenever necessary
- Managing end to end Accounts Payable duties, ensuring invoices are processed on a timely basis
- Bank reconciliations
- Documentation filing
- Assisting with yearly audit
- Managing staff corporate credit cards, including staff reimbursement
- Ad hoc tasks as required by the Finance Manager
- Supporting other Departments whenever required
SELECTION CRITERIA
- A degree in Accounting or Commercial or Business
- 1-3 years of working experience with a customer focus
- Experience in working with an accounting software package/database package (experience in NAV, Microsoft Dynamics is an advantage)
- Attention to detail and process driven
- Time management skill with a team player attitude
- Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
- Ability to work autonomously with ability to meet deadlines
- Familiar and comfortable in working with Excel
