ORGANISATION

North East Community Support Group Inc (NECSG) is a non-profit community-based organisation in Zillmere auspicing three services: Zillmere Community Centre, Family Accommodation Service and Youth Support Service. The mission of NECSG is to equip and empower our community to thrive through connections, capacity building, and access to services.

Zillmere Community Centre provides individual and community support to people living in Zillmere and surrounding suburbs and offers a place of welcome, acceptance and inclusion for all. Community members can access formal and informal support, group activities to support social connections and inclusion and participate in local community action projects at the Zillmere Community Centre.

About the role

The Centre Manager is responsible for oversight of the organisation as well as delivery of the Zillmere Community Centre program. In this position you will be managing a multi-disciplinary team as well as providing support and connection to the local community. You will develop and manage the implementation and evaluation of strategic priorities, oversee budgets and work with the Management Committee to ensure NECSG’s success.

In this role, you will lead and support the team with delivery of program services whilst actively fostering a positive and professional workplace culture.

The Centre Manager position is a permanent part-time position, 30 hours per week (Monday to Thursday) from 8.30am – 4.30pm *inc. 30-minute lunch break. The position is paid at the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services award level 7 with salary sacrifice available. The Centre Manager will report to the Management Committee and will lead and support staff, students and volunteers of the organisation.
