The role

As our new Speech Therapist you will be working within our multidisciplinary team to administer assessments, provide direct and indirect intervention, and liaise with families, teachers, professionals and support staff.

This permanent full-time or part-time role offers the possibility of flexible working arrangements for the successful candidate.

Full administration support is provided to clinicians including bookings, confirmation of appointments and billing.

Duties

  • Assist children and adolescents (and their families) with a disability or developmental delay to work towards increased functional independence and social participation
  • Provision of interventions to both participants and their families, including: assessments, recommendations, therapy/training
  • Work together with the wider team to achieve the best possible outcome for our participants and their individual goals

Requirements

  • Degree in Speech Therapy or Speech-language Pathology
  • Eligible for CPSP Certified Practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
  • Working with Children Check and National Police Check
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and their families to make therapy enjoyable and engaging
  • Interest in professional development
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
