Waratah provides free services to individuals, families and communities across the South- West region who are impacted by domestic violence and/or sexual abuse/assault. Our services include adult and children’s trauma-informed counselling, court support, advocacy, community education and prevention work and therapeutic group work.

About the Role

The CEO role is the Senior Leadership role for Waratah, key outcomes of CEO role include:

• Lead and manage the strategic directions for operations and sustainability
• Leadership and support for 27 employees
• Financial sustainability of the organisation
• Promoting Waratah to external stakeholders and the community to advance our mission
• Providing community, family and individual support
• Ensuring regulatory compliance
• Building organisational capability
• Strengthening the reputation and brand of Waratah.

About You

Waratah’s new CEO will be a respected, inspiring and innovative leader who embraces our values and demonstrates exceptional communication skills in all forums and environments.

You will have senior leadership experience within a not-for profit or community services organisation and have experience or a strong understanding of Family Violence/Domestic Violence organisations. You will also need achievements in implementing strategic plans, engaging stakeholders and financial management and leading a diverse organisation.

You will also need to live in or near Bunbury or be open to relocate to Bunbury a truly wonderful city.
