About Carringbush

Carringbush has been delivering outreach education and pathways programs since 1984. We specialise in supporting people with low levels of English language, literacy and numeracy, and those who face significant barriers to participating in further education and employment.

About the Role

The Community Development Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and delivering community-based programs that support access to education, training, and employment. The role focuses on working directly with culturally and linguistically diverse adults, particularly those with low levels of English language, literacy and numeracy.

Working under limited supervision, the Community Development Coordinator contributes to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of community development initiatives, builds supportive relationships with participants and local partners, and assists with grant applications, reporting, and community events. The Community Development Coordinator works collaboratively with Carringbush staff, trainers, volunteers, and local stakeholders to ensure that projects are responsive to community needs and delivered effectively.
