Established in 1998, Galambila is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples living on Gumbaynggirr land (Coffs Harbour).
Galambila is committed to the delivery of high quality, comprehensive primary health care that is sustainable and culturally relevant for their clients and is the largest employer of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the area, providing opportunities for community to work in and with community.
Serving the Aboriginal communities of Coffs Harbour, Urunga, Bellingen and Woolgoolga, and providing outreach services at Yarrawarra Aboriginal Cultural Centre, Galambila also collaborates in service delivery across the broader region with other communities.
You will report to and provide the Galambila board with executive level support and direction to guide the organisation through its next stage of growth and development, while continuing to progress the current breadth of programs and services.

You have developed your executive career in the health, social welfare, community or development sectors. With a successful track record in the delivery of a diverse range of programs and services, you have a collaborative and flexible leadership style and proven ability to work calmly and kindly and think strategically under pressure.
You bring knowledge, respect and support for the cultural values and practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples together with demonstrated understanding of the issues impacting the health status of communities and current initiatives to improve Aboriginal health outcomes.
Your experience also includes:
You either identify as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander or you are a strong First Nations ally passionate about Aboriginal self-determination and empowerment.
