The Research Assistant position will play an integral role in supporting NIYEC’s research initiatives. The position will involve working closely with the Director of Research and Impact to inform NIYEC’s research agenda, advocacy, policy recommendations, and impact evaluation.
You are passionate about education justice and Indigenous-led research. You have experience working with Indigenous communities. You are highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable engaging with young people and stakeholders. Your research skills include data collection, analysis, and ethical research practices, and you are committed to upholding Indigenous knowledge systems and self-determination.
This is an identified role suitable for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants only.
