The Organisation:

The NMHPV is an independent support service for nurses, midwives and students of nursing and midwifery experiencing health issues related to their mental health, substance use and family violence concerns.

The Role:

The role includes assisting with the management and coordination of the office of the NMHPV, providing secretarial and administrative support to the CEO, a small clinical team and some liaison with the board, the organisation’s participants and stakeholders. The role is highly valued and respected by all stakeholders, making it a highly sought after position.

Further, it involves:

  • Management of reception and secretarial functions
  • Responsibility for administration functions
  • Providing personal assistance to a small clinical team
  • Assisting with management of financial systems

You will demonstrate the following skills in:

  • MS Office, Access, Excel (essential) and MYOB (desirable)
  • Administrative management
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Multi-tasking, ability to be flexible and attention to detail
