Qualifications & experience
- Must have a minimum of 2 years administrative experience
- Excellent customer service and relationship building skills
- Bookkeeping experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently, be highly organised, proactive and work well as part of a team
- Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel
- NDIS experience preferred but not essential
- Working with Children's Check, Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check will be required
Tasks & responsibilities
- Managing the day-to-day enquiries from participants regarding their NDIS packages and funded supports including the induction of new participants to our service
- Ensuring the ongoing retention and engagement of participants and their support teams using your excellent communication and relationship building skills, your friendly service and professionalism
- Helping participants understand their NDIS plans and what they have been funded for including advice on claimable supports and reasonable and necessary criteria
- Monitoring participant budgets effectively and accurately and guiding participants through the process
- Liaising with providers, NDIA and other stakeholders as necessary
- Processing invoices in a timely and accurate manner and making claims through the NDIS portal
- Securing and maintaining the required evidence to comply with auditing requirements
- Maintaining the CRM
- Keeping yourself up to date with the latest NDIS updates and guides
