Overview

The Nossal Institute for Global Health aims to improve the health of all people globally by deepening our collective understanding of how multiple systems operate and interact to shape health through applied research, learning and partnership.

The Business Services Unit (BSU) is the professional services team supporting the Institute’s technical units. The team provide specialised expertise, enabling our researchers to focus on their core work.

About the Role

The Coordinator – Projects works as part of the Programs team within the BSU. The Programs team aim to deliver high-quality project development and management activities and generalised program support tasks across the Nossal Institute’s portfolio of research and development assistance activities.

The position report to the Lead – Programs and works collaboratively with Programs team members, technical units and BSU colleagues across the organisation.

About You

You are passionate about applying your exceptional project coordination skills to applied research and consultancy activities in global health. You are a team player. Your organisation skills and people-centred focus will ensure you build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

You will have the ability to

  • Support activities within the team
  • Coordinate various activities involved in the lifecycle of a project
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Work in a culturally and linguistically diverse environment
  • Contribute to continuous improvement
