No to Violence is Australia’s peak body for individuals and organisations that work with men that use violence. We provide training, sector development and advocacy across the sector. We operate the Men’s Referral Service, providing a counselling service and referral pathways directly to men who use violence. As a pro-feminist organisation, women and children are at the centre of what we do - by ending men’s use of family violence, families, individuals, and communities are safer.

About the role

Type: Fixed Term, Part Time – up to two (2) days per week for 7 months

Classification: SCHADS Award Level 6 plus Superannuation

Location: Flexible

NTV is seeking an experienced and dynamic Conference Project Manager to lead the planning and delivery of the 2025 NTV Conference.

Reporting to the Head of Workforce and Sector Development via a Conference Steering Committee and Reference Group, and working closely with our external conference management company, you’ll be at the heart of shaping a major event for Australia’s family violence sector. This role offers the opportunity to drive strategy, manage partnerships, and bring together diverse voices to create an impactful and inspiring program.

To achieve this, you will:

  • Lead the end-to-end coordination of the 2025 NTV Conference, including planning, timelines, and risk management
  • Facilitate key working groups, ensuring effective collaboration across internal and external stakeholders
  • Curate a high-quality, relevant conference program, including speaker selection, engagement and session development
  • Develop and implement sponsorship and marketing strategies to maximise reach and engagement
  • Oversee logistics, branding, communications and budgeting in partnership with professional organisers
  • Create, concise and compelling session descriptions and materials, including speaker bios and presentation summaries
  • Support event delivery and post-event reporting, including attending the conference in October 2025

About you

You will have:

  • Proven experience in project and/or event management, with a strong track record of delivering complex events
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and multiple stakeholders
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities with speakers, sponsors, and collaborators
  • Experience curating content or programs aligned with social or sector-specific themes, ideally in the not-for-profit space
  • A solid understanding of the family violence sector
  • Relevant qualifications in Event Management, Communications, or similar, or equivalent industry experience
