  • Team member package - A base salary of $85,000 - 109,000pa depending on experience PLUS a personal company car, fuel card to assist with the travels, a work laptop and phone to separate work and play, and an efficiency payment structure to reward your efforts. If you decide to opt out of the company car, you can use your own personal car and be provided a higher base salary and a travel reimbursement instead.

Senior Occupational Therapist role at NeuroRehab

We are searching for a creative and confident Senior Occupational Therapist to join our supportive multidisciplinary Melbourne team. The home clinic will be based in Thomastown or Deer Park for either of our West and North catchments. The position at hand is ideal for applicants with full-time availability, however, applications with part-time availability or those seeking school-friendly hours are welcome to apply.

The caseload will be working with the adult population and assisting people with traumatic brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, MS, cerebral palsy, intellectual disability, and a diverse range of other neurological conditions.

Clinical snapshot

  • Delivery of therapeutic services including OT assessments, interventions, treatment planning, education, and reporting.
  • Prescription and funding requests of AT as required.
  • Support clients with a person-centred approach, to promote inclusion and new possibilities.
  • Collaborate with a well-structured multidisciplinary team.
  • Supervision of less experienced OTs.

NeuroRehab clients

Our clients are predominantly NDIS participants and some TAC and My Aged Care-funded clients.

Requirements

  • AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • 3+ years of Occupational Therapy experience.
  • Successful candidates are required to undertake a Police Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screen.
  • Full COVID-19 and Influenza vaccination.

Desirable

  • Experience working within an NDIS framework.
  • Familiarity, knowledge and understanding of prescribing a range of assistive technology.
