As part of the Senior People and Culture team, you will:

  • Partner with a dedicated client group to understand their business and best support their strategic goals while demonstrating the NSWNMA values of advocacy, collectivism, courage, innovation, and integrity.
  • Facilitate recruitment, new starter orientations, exit processes, performance reviews, salary increments and work health and safety.
  • Prepare reports on workforce data, including vacancy trends, employee turnover and engagement insights to enable good decision making.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and best practice by updating policies, advising managers on policy interpretation and implementation, and maintaining accurate workforce data. Oversee the preparation of monthly and ad-hoc reports on vacancies, workers' compensation claims, and employee relations.
  • Provide generalist administrative support.
  • Support the development and implementation of diversity initiatives that underpin inclusivity throughout NSWNMA.
  • Support the implementation of the NSWNMA Reconciliation Action Plan.

The right person for this role will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Psychology or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong experience as a Business Partner providing the full complement of services to an allocated client base.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong Excel skills.
  • Able to manage projects end to end and demonstrated ability to create pragmatic policies and procedures.
