<p>The Kimberley &ndash; Like Nowhere Else Alliance is looking for a person with communications and campaign experience who is passionate about WA's unique Kimberley region and protecting one of Australia's most important, free-flowing rivers &ndash; the Martuwarra Fitzroy River.  </p>

<h3>WHAT YOU&rsquo;D BE WORKING ON  </h3>
<p>The Campaign Communications role will work alongside The Kimberley &ndash; Like Nowhere Else team to deliver a communications strategy and help build widespread public awareness and support for protecting the Martuwarra Fitzroy River. </p>
<p>This Perth-based role is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong communication skills and an interest in environmental advocacy to help achieve conservation outcomes for WA's Kimberley region.</p>
<h3>SCOPE OF WORK </h3>
<ul>
<li>Creating engaging content for various platforms, including social media, newsletters, press releases, and websites. </li>
<li>Assist with management of social media channels. </li>
<li>Assist with organising events and public engagement opportunities. </li>
<li>Assist in maintaining positive relationships with partner organisations, stakeholders, Traditional Owners and the media. </li>
<li>Assist in the delivery of media releases and media pitches to online, print and TV media. </li>
<li>Assist in the creation of video content. </li>
<li>Assist with designing and developing campaign materials. </li>
<li>Assist the WA Campaign Coordinator with development and delivery of the communications strategy. </li>
<li>Work with The Kimberley &ndash; Like Nowhere Else team to deliver on the campaign strategy. </li>
</ul>
<h3>REQUIRED SKILLS </h3>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor degree in communications, graphic design, digital media, or a related field. </li>
<li>Proven experience in communications or digital media. </li>
<li>Ability to write, design and edit digital and print campaign materials and manage web content. </li>
<li>Outstanding written and verbal communications skills. </li>
<li>Excellent copywriting, proof-reading skills and attention to detail. </li>
<li>Creative and innovative thinker. </li>
<li>Ability to work well in a team environment and independently. </li>
<li>Exceptional organisational and time management skills. </li>
<li>Passionate about conserving our natural and cultural environment. </li>
</ul>
<h3>DESIRABLE SKILLS </h3>
<ul>
<li>Experience working with print, online and TV media. </li>
<li>Lived experience or experience working with First Nations people.  </li>
<li>Campaigning experience. </li>
<li>Experience in video production. </li>
<li>Experience managing social media campaigns. </li>
<li>Experience using graphic design programs. </li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>   </strong>TERMS  </h3>
<ul>
<li>This is a contract position and the fee scale per annum ranges from $75,000 &ndash; 80,000 depending on skills and experience, plus 11.5% superannuation. It is expected that the brief will require a workload of 5 days per week. </li>
<li>The initial contract runs through to June 2025 with extension possible, dependent upon performance, funding and campaign requirements.</li>
<li>This is a contract position for 5 days per week, requiring a current Australian Business Number. </li>
<li>The successful applicant will need a valid driver&rsquo;s licence. </li>
<li>This position may require travel within WA and interstate. </li>

<h3> LOCATION </h3>
<ul>
<li>The role is based in Perth with a central office located in West Perth. </li>
<li>The role is part of a hybrid working model, with the ability to work from home on agreed days. </li>
