We’re looking for legends who are ready to further their career in the outdoors by undertaking their Certificate IV in Outdoor Leadership while working with Outward Bound.

Extend your skillset and experience in outdoor education. Work with diverse groups and experienced mentors in stunning locations.

To apply for the Group Leader Development Program (previously referred to as our Traineeship), you need to be 18 years-old or over, eligible to work in Australia, and have already obtained Cert III in Outdoor Leadership or have demonstrated equivalent experience such as a professional logbook or overseas qualifications.

Pre-requisites

• Cert III in Outdoor Leadership or equivalent
• Remote Area First Aid (preferred) and current CPR OR Provide First Aid with current CPR or ability to obtain prior to starting work
• Working With Vulnerable People check for the ACT or ability to obtain prior to starting work 

Desirables

• Unrestricted driver’s licence
• Bronze Medallion or equivalent 

Experience

• Prior experience working with groups of clients in the outdoors.
• Prior experience leading outdoor activities.
• Personal experience and interest in a variety of outdoor activity.
• Love for the Australian bush and its care. 

Salary

Starts at $48,354.84 full-time + allowances
