Odyssey House Victoria (OHV) is a place of hope and positive change for individuals working towards breaking their pattern of addiction. The Circuit Breaker Program operates under the Residential Services Program of OHV. This program is funded through Victorian and Commonwealth Government to provide a residential drug treatment program in Northeastern Victoria. Circuit Breaker Program offers a 6-week program in addition to longer term holistic treatment for residents which incorporates cognitive therapy, behavioural structures, and case planning within a physically and psychologically safe environment, enhancing and encouraging individual motivation for change.
The key purpose of the position is to work closely with the resident’s providing supervision and support in their day-to-day activities and ensuring facility maintenance needs are met.
The ideal candidate would demonstrate teamwork, empathy and work within a strengths-based approach.
