We are excited to announce an opportunity for a passionate Community Lead to join our Corporate Affairs team on a 12-month fixed term contract. Reporting to our Corporate Communications Manager (Team & Community), this role will drive the implementation of the Officeworks Community Strategy, supporting the overriding business objective to “be part of the communities where we live and work”.
The Community Lead will ensure genuine support is provided to local communities via our store network and sites, whilst also leveraging national partnerships. This will include the successful implementation of partnership activities ensuring the Officeworks corporate image and culture is reflected in a considered and consistent manner in line with our strategy.
This role will partner with the Marketing team to ensure consistency of message and branding across all community related communication activities and lead the development of tools, forms and engagement ideas to inspire and encourage team members to execute community initiatives at a grass roots level.
Measurement is an important part of this role, with ongoing and accurate reporting and of the community contributions a key responsibility, alongside ensuring that the budgeted forecast is kept up to date and in line with allocation for the full financial year.
As this role is heavily reliant on building and sustaining partnerships it is essential you demonstrate the ability to build and maintain meaningful and effective relationships with key business stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a minimum of two years working in a Community Engagement Lead/NFP partnership Lead role. You will have proven track record of implementing partnerships and community involvement strategies accompanied with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. This role requires a high level of organisation with strong planning and prioritisation skills essential.
