As our new Authorised Program Officer (APO), you'll play a vital role in promoting the quality of life for people with a disability, and/or mental health diagnosis. You'll use your expertise to: 

  • Review and endorse Behaviour Support Plans, ensuring they maximise opportunities and promote self-determination. 
  • Advocate for least restrictive support options. 
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes. 
  • Analyse incidents and develop action plans to minimise risks.

You will need: 

  • 5+ years of experience within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) industry. 
  • Relevant qualifications and experience to obtain approval from the Victorian Senior Practitioner (VSP). 
  • Thorough understanding of NDIS restrictive practices, standards and legislation. 
  • Strong analytical and communication skills. 
  • A tech-savvy mindset.
