Disability Support Worker - Entry Level

ONCALL Group

ONCALL Group Australia is a leading provider in Disability and Community Support Services. Our vision is to be nationally recognised as the leading integrated community service provider, empowering people to live their best lives.

At ONCALL you will be making a difference to children, young people and adults living with disabilities and be working alongside a team who love helping others.

What’s in it for me?

  • ONCALL’s JobReady Plus program enables people that have either not worked in this amazing sector or are looking for some extra training before joining ONCALL.
  • The program provides in-classroom 5 day training course delivered through a mix of hands-on practical and course work.
  • Upon completion of the course, you will be JobReady Plus and employed with ONCALL to work with our NDIS participants.
  • We’ll continue to offer you ongoing training, support and mentoring.

How will I help?

You will be providing one on one support to NDIS participants who may have similar hobbies, interests, and values to your own. The type of activities you could be doing with each person will vary, but generally they fall under three main areas: community access, achieving goals and personal support.

What do I need?

  • To be motivated to make a difference in the lives of others and interested in disability support
  • To hold a valid driver’s licence and a roadworthy, registered car
  • All applicants must be willing to obtain the relevant mandatory screening clearances. Candidates also need to provide a vaccination certificate or immunisation evidence as required.

ONCALL runs the JobReady Plus training program on a regular cycle. If you are interested, please apply and we will be in contact with you soon.

If you have any questions prior to applying, please contact Marcus Goodwin – Recruitment Consultant, on 9896 2468.

ONCALL Group Australia is committed to child safety, safeguarding and zero tolerance. We take seriously our responsibility to ensure the safety and well-being of all children, young people and adults we support. All applicants and employees must undergo mandatory screening checks. Only applicants with Australian Working Rights should apply. Indigenous Australians and Torres Strait Islanders are encouraged to apply.
