The General Manager – In Home Services is a newly designed role in which you will work closely and transparently with the State Manager and the Executive Team to develop and lead the proactive sourcing of prospective new clients and the implementation of service excellence frameworks.  

To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience as a strategic leader and a strong understanding of the NDIS, in addition to a passion for designing and engaging services that individuals with disabilities want and need the most.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Managing existing In-Home Services clients to ensure satisfaction and client retention.
  • Providing leadership to the service delivery team and support workers in the community to ensure a highly engaged workforce delivering outstanding client service.
  • Building a high-performing and positive team culture that reflects transparency, accountability, and excellent customer service.
  • Managing and developing effective relationships with ONCALL funding bodies to ensure all service delivery standards are met.
  • Guiding the annual In-Home Services business development targets, including priority areas of focus.
  • Engaging with registered practitioners to implement and review outcomes from clinical assessments and therapeutic interventions.
  • Providing on-going coaching and development to raise the overall performance of the division and maximise each staff members potential.

To be considered, you will:

  • A relevant qualification and/ or equivalent experience in Nursing, Community Services, Allied Health, or Disability Services,
  • Demonstrated experience as a leader is a NDIS focused organisation and a deep understanding of what ‘good’ looks like in relation to In-Home Support.
  • Tenacity, passion, and pace – this is a strong business partnering opportunity and we are looking for the right person to make an impact.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to liaise with senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet conflicting deadlines.
