  • Providing essential mobile services to a diverse caseload of NDIS clients, supporting your local community's well-being.
  • Undertaking risk assessments and behavioural assessments to identify behavioural functions and triggers and support the development of positive behaviour support and capacity building strategies.
  • Developing interim and comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans in line with NDIS requirements.
  • Working collaboratively with participants, families, carers, staff, and external professionals by writing reports, making recommendations, writing and updating Behavioural Support Plans, Reporting Restrictive Practices and providing therapeutic care to participants as needed and/or requested.
  • Engaging in collaborative case conferencing and reflective practice within a supportive multidisciplinary team environment, fostering professional growth.
  • Benefiting from tailored 1:1 clinical supervision and mentorship and providing collaborative clinical support to peers.

A little about you:

  • You will have undergone Tertiary education relevant to the role, such as a Bachelor of Social Work or Psychology.
  • You will have some experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner and be registered as a NDIS Behaviour Practitioner, with a relevant ID.
  • You will be willing to develop meaningful goals and practical strategies to meet client objectives in the home and community.
  • You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills to oversee and contribute to the development, delivery and evaluation of evidence based individually tailored Behaviour Support Plans for clients in partnership with informal and formal supports.
