<p>Under the shade of boab trees sits One Tree Derby Children&rsquo;s Service in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. This service is very connected to the Derby community and school, taking part in local festivals and providing a school readiness program in the final term. You&rsquo;ll join a service that offers a nursery, toddlers, and kindy room. Along with out of school hours care and vacation care.</p>

<h3>This position</h3>
<ul>
<li>Provide support services for trainees at One Tree services through the Pathways Mentor Program</li>
<li>Increase trainee&rsquo;s numbers in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector, in town, making it easier for local people to work there</li>
<li>Being honest, patient, and good at listening when supporting trainees complete their training</li>
<li>Assist to increase completion rates of trainee qualifications in the local workforce</li>
<li>Be an enthusiastic role model to help provide a culturally safe workplace</li>
<li>Assist to meet the outcomes and deliverables as set out in the Pathways Project Plan</li>
</ul>
<h3>Requirements</h3>
<ul>
<li>Be eligible to work in Australia</li>
<li>Live in Derby or willing to relocate</li>
<li>Current WA Working with Children Check</li>
<li>Satisfactory National Police Clearance</li>
<li>Hold a current Driver&rsquo;s licence</li>
</ul>

<li>Passion for working alongside community to support better outcomes for children and families</li>
