We connect customers to their communities and engage relevant providers to enable our customers to thrive. Our Support Coordinators are NDIS experts in offering Level 2 and Level 3 Support Coordination for people with a NDIS plan. We connect customers to their communities and find the best outcomes for their needs.

About the role

As the Regional Manager based in Brisbane you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality support coordination services are provided to OnSide’s Queensland customer base.

We are growing in Queensland, and you will take up the mantle to build a bigger team through leading recruitment, onboarding, and orientation, and building a positive work culture that retains the best support coordination team members.

Overseeing compliance and practice excellence you will also have the opportunity to represent OnSide as a key relationship manager and ambassador.

As a member of the National senior leadership team you will contribute the delivery of the current OnSide strategic plan as OnSide goes from great to outstanding over the next 12-18 months.

Your primary focus will be on delivering positive outcomes to people with disability who are living with complexity in their lives through growing a nurturing a team of the best.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Recruitment planning and workforce development
  • Culture building and inspiring growth and development
  • Compliance, risk and assurance management
  • Relationship management and networking
  • Feedback and advising on organisational improvements

This is a permanent full-time position. Hybrid work model with flexibility to work from home. Our office is located in Brisbane, however frequent travel will be required across various metropolitan and regional locations to support our customers.

About You

We are looking for a collaborative, resourceful and customer-oriented team player with exceptional leadership skills and great connections throughout Queensland.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have:

  • Significant experience in leadership within the health and human service sector
  • Experience in Support Coordination/Case Management role
  • Social work, Disability, Community Service Management, Community Development, Allied Health, Psychology, or Case Management qualifications are highly regarded
  • Current driver’s license and well-maintained vehicle that meets current safety standards with comprehensive car insurance.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
  • Compliance with any Government COVID vaccination requirements for the disability sector.

It is an employment requirement that you complete the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission online Worker Orientation training module called ‘Quality, Safety and You’ prior to your commencement (if you don’t already have evidence of this certification).

  • Be a positive and empowering leader that knows how to get this done, lead through growth and change and build a positive culture.
  • Be an outstanding communicator.
  • Know your away around technology (intermediate knowledge of Excel).
  • Be able to set priorities for the whole team and manage time effectively.
  • Be able to bring a team together in a hybrid work model.
