We are an organisation that has been delivering social support activities to adults and youth for over 50 years in the Banyule area.
As the Adult Program Manager, here is your chance to join us and be part of a dedicated team delivering social support activities to a diverse group of adults. These activities are run from our well-equipped community facility in Macleod. You will be making a difference to people’s lives through engagement, fun activities and social connection as well as achieving personal satisfaction from the difference you make.
Consistent with many faith-based organisations our foundational beliefs underpin our identity and reason for service. Open House’s ethos and mission is based on our Christian principles and calling to help those who are disadvantaged or in need (socially or economically excluded). Open House Board, staff, volunteers and participants come from multi-faith and no faith backgrounds; mutual respect underpins our relations, and all are warmly welcomed.
A program manager to lead and develop a range of socially inclusive programs for adults in the Banyule community.
This position would be perfect for someone who has the qualifications and experience in the running of activities and programs for adults and senior citizens in a community setting, including NDIS participants.
You must have excellent people skills, be patient, show genuine care and enjoy working with senior citizens and those with disabilities.
The position will initially involve 22.5 per week or 0.6 FTE. but could lead to full-time position subject to funding.
