about the role

This role will contribute to OPG’s practice reform and continuous improvement objectives. It will undertake in-depth practice quality reviews and provide reports and recommendations across a range of service delivery areas to support continuous quality improvement, practice excellence, compliance with legislative obligations, and OPG policy and strategic goals.

key responsibilities

  • Review service delivery practice, and performance data, to evaluate practice quality, and compliance with relevant legislation, OPG practice guidance and policy.
  • Compile data and findings and prepare high-level reports and briefing material to inform an evidence-based review process.
  • Proactively identify themes and trends in practice review outcomes and advise on practice support and training recommendations.
  • Make and contribute to recommendations that support continuous practice improvement in multiple service delivery areas, including assessing risk in the context of OPG’s statutory obligations and responsibilities, and make persuasive arguments for Executive Leadership consideration of key priorities.
  • Engage with the Principal Practice Leaders to exchange ideas and information, contributing to their evaluation or formulation of practice guidance, policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all documentation and activities are appropriately recorded, ensuring accurate and timely record keeping and data storage.
  • Maintain positive relationships with people with impaired capacity, their families, service providers, advocates, team members, government agencies and other interested stakeholders, to promote positive working relationships and optimal service delivery.
