Orange Health provides in home support & social and community access, services to people with a disability.

We are looking for experienced and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our growing services, working 1:1 with our clients. Current client vacancies are in Balwyn North and Moonee Ponds, however, from time to time we need support workers for our clients in other areas.

About You

You will assist our clients in their homes and in their community. You are a self-motivated, highly driven, organised and flexible individual with strong verbal and written communication and relationship building skills. You possess strong problem-solving skills and exhibit a positive attitude.

Requirements:

  • Current disability industry experience is preferred
  • Updated First Aid & CPR
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Current Police Check
  • NDIS Module Certificate (we can help you get this)

Current Job Availability:

Location: Balwyn North, Male in early 20s – requires support with daily life, some personal care, community access/participation. No manual handling required. Our client is flexible and would like to start with 1 or 2 shifts (3 hours each) any day of the week with the aim of increasing the hours. Support worker must be motivated and reliable. Training provided.

Location: Moonee Ponds, Female in early 30s – requires support with physical disability. Needs assistance with her personal care and manual handling to help her get ready for the day. Looking for someone who is reliable and easy going to work the following days 8.30am till 10.30am, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Additional fill in shifts will be offered as they become available. Potential to increase shifts in the future. Training provided.
