The Role

As a casual Picker/Packing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in quickly and accurately picking and packing individual customer orders. Your responsibilities will include preparing orders for delivery or pickup, sorting and counting produce, cutting and preparing items, weighing produce to ensure quality, and maintaining a clean and orderly workspace. Manual lifting, packaging, labelling, and sorting are part of the job, so physical fitness is essential.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, outstanding organisation and time management skills, and the ability to work well within a team environment. While experience in organics and food handling/hospitality is preferred, it is not essential. We value reliability, punctuality, flexibility, and a genuine love for organic fruits and vegetables.

The position requires availability on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, from 7 am until 1 pm approximately (depending on number of orders) with occasional opportunities for longer or additional shifts. Additionally, you'll enjoy a 30% staff discount on organic fruit and vegetables.
