About the job

Lead the creation, management, and optimisation of digital content across Orygen’s website and email platforms. Drive media outreach, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communications to amplify Orygen’s impact and brand awareness.

Reporting to the Head of Communications and Media you will:

  • Lead website content updates, enhance UX, and track analytics for growth.
  • Drive email production, ensure brand consistency, and manage content pipeline.
  • Build Orygen’s profile through media outreach and promote research/public policy.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement, balancing priorities and collaborating with partners.
  • Contribute to marketing initiatives and support digital strategy across teams.

Skills and experience

The following criteria must be met for consideration for this position:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in media, communications, journalism or equivalent.
  • Experience using a website CMS (Kentico experience desirable), email marketing platforms, design tools (e.g. Canva) or willingness to learn these skills and Google Analytics.
  • Exceptional copywriting and copy-editing skills, and basic photo-editing skills
  • Reliable, efficient, close attention to detail. Impeccable time management skills, with ability to plan and reprioritise at short notice.
  • Excellent internal and external stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, and willingness to work with all types of people by being a strong team player.
