Your new job

The Full-Stack Engineer will play an integral role in the development evolution of MOST features, ensuring security, testing, technology integration and further innovation to provide high quality releases to a user base of young people, health professionals and international partners. You will support the development of both frontend and backend services, analytics, third-party integrations, API development and work with DevOps to ensure smooth operation of MOST across deployments.

Reporting to the Head of Engineering, Orygen Digital you will:

• Contribute to the design, development, and evolution of scalable, cost-effective architecture, while advancing both frontend and backend technologies and processes.
• Ensure the integration of secure and innovative technology solutions within MOST.
• Collaborate with QA Testing to ensure a smooth, high-quality delivery and operation of MOST.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, design and research teams.

What you’ll need

You are passionate, energetic and determined to make a difference to health and wellbeing outcomes for young people. The following criteria must be met for consideration for this position:

• Extensive commercial development experience.
• Proficiency with Python and Javascript/NodeJS.
• Hands-on development experience with full-stack frontend applications (VueJS) and microservices, event driven systems, AWS infrastructure services and specification and implementation of RESTful API’s.
• Technical experience with; CI/CD pipelines and automation, logging, testing, monitoring, containerisation using Docker, Kubernetes and Linux and bash scripting.
• An ability to problem solve and exercise high level judgement, with skill in determining when to independently manage versus when to escalate.
