The Practice Manager will ensure the effective delivery of day-to-day operational services at headspace Glenroy. You will be integral to the overall functioning and delivery of mental health services to young people, their families, and carers.

Reporting to the Clinical Services Manager, you will:

  • Oversee and coordinate administrative processes at headspace Glenroy.
  • Oversee the provision of payroll services to the centre.
  • Oversee the induction and training of all staff, including private practitioners.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Services Manager to facilitate and improve communication methods within the centre.

Our headspace sites operate after 5pm multiple times a week, availability to work across rotating shifts required.

What you’ll need

You are passionate, energetic and determined to make a difference to health and wellbeing outcomes for young people. The following criteria must be met for consideration for this position:

  • Proven experience working in a health service or similar environment in a management role.
  • Tertiary qualifications in business management, administration or similar is highly desirable.
  • Ability to review systems for operational efficiency and control.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to consult, liaise, and negotiate with young people, carers, family members, health, and other professionals.

  • Salary between $75,000 – $85,000 commensurate with skills and experience + 10.5% super + NFP salary packaging up to $15,900.

This is a part-time to full-time (0.8 – 1.0 FTE) permanent position, subject to funding.
