About the role

  • Hybrid and remote working arrangements available
  • 0.8FTE (flexible FTE options available)
  • Fixed term to June 2027 (with potential for renewal)
  • $98,825 - $103,784 (pro rata) + 11.5% super + 17.5% annual leave loading

This role will assist in planning, prioritising, and managing administrative needs of the Director and leadership team to ensure governance requirements are met and the directorate is working effectively.

The Executive Assistant will ensure the Director’s time is managed efficiently, prepare and format reports and documentation, take meeting minutes and arrange travel and events where required.

This role will involve broad administrative and coordination support and liaison with the Our Watch board.

About you

As an experienced Executive Assistant to senior leaders, you will be approachable and provide an inclusive, welcoming environment for staff and external stakeholders as well as exceptional communication skills. You’ve demonstrated in previous roles that you enjoy step by step processes equally as much as being flexible and problem solving on the spot. You thrive in a change environment focused on continuous improvement and you are confident and skilled in organisational governance.

Your skills in various technology, IT systems and platforms helps you to quickly understand and learn new systems. In addition, you have a general understanding of the drivers of violence against women and gender equality as well as knowledge regarding primary prevention of family violence against women work being undertaken.
