About the role:

We are excited to open the doors to our brand-new VIC South East Hub and are seeking a motivated and proactive Food Rescue & Warehouse Coordinator to join our dynamic team on a 12 month contract. As the first point of contact for visitors and a key player in warehouse operations, you’ll ensure the smooth and safe movement of inventory, vehicles, and people while supporting logistics across the state. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse and cool room operations, ensuring they meet WHS standards
  • Leading people and teams
  • Support stock movement, inventory management, and onsite facility maintenance
  • Coordinate deliveries, manage traffic flow, and engage with agency stakeholders
  • Assist in implementing and monitoring WHS policies to reduce risks and maintain a safe environment
  • Provide support to the Food Rescue Coordinator (2 days per week), managing pickups, deliveries, and driver communications
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations and maintain safety equipment

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Current driver’s license, First Aid Certificate, and Police Check
  • Experience in warehouse or logistics (2+ years)
  • Strong problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills
  • Ability to lift and move stock safely
  • Positive attitude and a commitment to OzHarvest’s mission
