About the role:

This leadership role involves leading a regional team of Food Rescue Engagement Coordinators across NSW & ACT. The NSW/ACT Food Rescue Engagement Lead will be responsible for the day-to-day growth and development of our food donations, as well as strengthening relationships with our charity partners. This role encompasses planning, development, and leadership of food donations, charity partnerships, and the team.

This role also partners closely wiht our Engagement and Impact teams to identify opportunities for deeper engagement and in-kind dontations and support. Join a passionate team dedicated to making a positive impact on the community while working together to nourish our country!

This is a full time role based from our Headquarters at Alexandria, Sydney.

The successful candidate can demonstrate:

  • Team leadership, including success cultivating cultures where you have attracted, retained and developed team members across a diverse region.
  • Business development and demonstrated growth accross a food or food related industry.
  • Account management skills and success in growing existing accounts. A bonus if you also have experience working with partner charities!
  • Commercial capabilities, ensuring costs are appropriately controlled and effectively contribute to the development of department budgets while regularly monitoring progress
  • Demonstrated capabilities in the use of digital tools and applications and the ability to learn quickly
